Inspeximus of a petition in Parliament of the Mayor and Commonalty for power to levy pontage, pannage (pound-age ?), murage, and toll, granted them by Henry II., from the tenants of the Hospitallers of St. John's of Jerusalem, who claim to be exempt from the same by a charter of the said King. 36 Edw. III. The petition is in French.

 

Grant to the Mayor and Commonalty of the custom called Coket, in consideration of the injuries received by them from the King's Irish enemies. 37 Edw. III.
