The text is a neat version, in MGF's writing, of item 7MGF/A/2/137, though the phrasing differs in places from the earlier draft. Short passages or phrases have been underlined in pencil, and numbered 1 to 6. Comments have been written in the margin. One reads: 'No.3 and No.5: Lord Brownlow absolutely denies the truth of these statements!'
