James Watson Munro 1888-1968

 

J W Munro was educated at the High School, Dundee, and Edinburgh University. He was appointed Assistant Professor of Entomology at Imperial College in 1926, and Professor of Entomology in 1930.

 

In 1934 the Entomology and Zoology departments at Imperial College were united and he became Professor of Zoology and Applied Entomology, holding this post until his retirement in 1953.
