a) Card to admit Mr. Colnaghi to a lecture to be given by Haydon N.d. (8 March)

 

b) Letter from 58 Connaught Terrace, Paddington to Thomas Phillips (1770-1845), portrait painter, arranging a meeting with him. 2 February 1826 (?) [1824-1827]

 

c) Letter from 4 Burwood Place to Mr. Bentley [bookseller], who had lent him books in prison requesting the loan of another book. [1833-1842]

 

d) Letter to Sir Peter Laurie (1779-1861), Lord Mayor of London in 1832, asking for more time to contribute towards a statue in memory of Sir David Wilkie, (1785-1841), painter. 15 January 1842

 

e) Letter from 14 Burwood Place to Lord Colborne (Sir John Colborne, first Baron Seaton, 1778-1863), asking him to purchase a further share in a painting Sacagofra which was to be raffled. With pencil note by Colborne, enclosing further contribution. 11 January 1843

 

f) Letter to W. Fairbairn enclosing sketches of two designs for the German Legion monument, one of Napoleon on St. Helena, the other of the Duke of Wellington on Waterloo Field.
