This series contains a wide range of documentation, including faculties, petitions and sentences of consecration, ordination and licensing papers, memoranda and newsletters, voting papers for the election of laity to represent the diocese in the general synod, general correspondence and files on the appointment of a new bishop, 1958-1959, rural deaneries and general correspondence. There are also a large number of title deeds including conveyances, mortgages, leases, bills, acts, consecrations, petitions, letters.

This series is currently uncatalogued - it is likely that the records from this series will be transferred to other parts of the collection once cataloguing has been completed.

Access by permission of the diocesan registrar for ordinations and deaconess's licensing less than fifty years old, and for clergy licensing and institutions less than thirty years old. All other files are open
