Title: The EARL of SUSSEX to LORD WILLOUGHBY.
Description:

--"My very good Lord, I give your Lordship most hearty thanks for those letters which I received from your Lordship, and understanding that her Majesty hath now taken order for the return of such men as were sent out of England for the aid of the French King, I shall desire your Lordship, for so many of them which went out of Hampshire, to see them with their armour, shot and furniture, to be returned thither again, which the country expecteth, and otherwise they shall have great want thereof, and her Majesty hath given order for receipt thereof again. Assuring your Lordship, when her Majesty had been informed that your Lordship was dead and that her Majesty was in great grief and sorrow therewith, I did inform her Majesty to the contrary, which greatly did comfort her Majesty." Signed.
