Michael Blount, Edinburgh to F.F. Turvile at the Earl of Shrewsbury's, Stanhope Street, London

 

Saying that he is spending his summer in study at Edinburgh instead of at the spa at Harrogate, where he had been advised to go, as his symptoms have disappeared in Edinburgh and study is much more his natural inclination. The sudden dissolution of Parliament will cause many families to be absent from town but he doubts if it will affect the Catholic circle much.
