Requesting that moneys now in trust with Turvile and Mr. Grieve should now be paid to the writer's children; he feels that it is better for them to receive the money at this juncture despite his own diminution of income, rather than at his death. He continues that he has just published a treatise on the effects of civilisation on the mass of the people in European states, embodying many of Turvile's views. Draft reply from Turvile, stating that in the light of the French Revolution and the present tyranny he has completely changed his views on the subject, but he will nevertheless look forward to reading the work.
