George Turvile, Dover Castle, to FFT, Bosworth Hall

 

Sorry his past conduct has caused displeasure and promises better for the future. Says that he is as punctual to duty as any other officer. He has a servant out of his company to whom he has only to pay 1s 6d per week and he thinks it more economical to keep him on rather than hire the servant his father has in mind. Regrets any misunderstanding between him and his father.
