Edward Peach, chaplain, Bosworth to FFT, Winchester, Hants

 

Just missed a meeting of his fellow clergy [at Grove Park Warwicks], for which he borrowed FT's horse and hopes he will not mind. Duke of Rutland's subscription list to be published in the Leicester paper. Hopes FT. will contribute and give the people a lead, also in raising Volunteers. Bosworth and surrounds apathetic though a troop is raised in Lutterworth. F.T.'s sons William and Edward in good health. A maid at the house is leaving to wait upon a gentlewoman in Warwickshire.
