Description:

Wm. Poynter, Old Hall Green, Herts to FFT, Bosworth

Informing him that he has procured a grant from Bishop Stapleton for the education of one of his sons. Asks for the balance of school bills to be returned.

Draft reply of FFT.

Thanking W. P. for his help and saying that the grant should be applied to Henry's education although he would have no objection to either of them entering the Church if they should so wish. Requires that Charles' pocket money be small as he will have to depend on his own industry during his lifetime and so must learn the value of money.
