Hopes Bath will be good for Mrs. T, but warns her to keep away from crowded assembly rooms whose stuffy atmosphere is bad for those with weak lungs. News as to the progression of his son's and Miss Butler's marriage settlement. His chaplain, Mr. Greenway, is at death's door. His youngest son has just been inoculated with the cow pox and is recovering well; will try him with the small pox later and expects he will not take it.
