Description:

Charles Browne Mostyn, St. Rambert, France to FFT, Lyons, France

Asks if he used the dry mud technique for building outhouses and garden walls. Blount's have gone to Italy for three or four years. Little Eliza has died. His sons are at St. Omer. Intends moving there in case a quick exit from the country is necessary. Expects an attack in Spring. Public opinion is greatly pro Revolution but C. B. says they are being led on by politicians. Only 1/12th of those entitled to vote do so. A jumble made of the Church as almost all clergy have given up their livings rather than take an oath against their consciences. Only paper money. The most impartial paper is the Journal de Geneve, written by a Geneva Protestant.
