Watmough and Son (1949) Ltd. was incorporated in October 1949, with a registered office at Great Coates, Grimsby, Lincs., but it is not clear what its business was. In March 1966 the name was changed to Fryer and Co. (Nelson) Ltd. on the purchase of this undertaking and its assets from Scribbans-Kemp Confectionery Holdings Ltd., and the registered office became Victory V Factories, Nelson. The records were found in James Keillor and Sons' Maryfield Factory, Dundee, on the liquidation of Alma Holdings; and previous parent company was Barker and Dobson.
