This accession is the miscellaneous collection of deeds accumulated by the former Hertfordshire County Museum by purchase and gift. The Museum was a joint venture of the County and the boroughs of Hertford and St Albans and was founded at the end of the nineteenth century. It began transferring its documents as soon as the facilities of the County Record Office were available |
