A licence was granted in 1776 for a Congregational meeting in the house of John Slaughter. In 1835 Adolphus Erlebach was appointed the first pastor by the Home Missionary Society. In 1845 the church was formed and met firstly in Erlebach's house and later in a rented cottage. In June 1869 a new iron chapel was built. In 1895 the building was renovated. It was closed in 1995 |
