At court of Belper held at Hasscheleyhey [Ashleyhay], Thursday in feast of St Peter the Apostle [29 June] 12 Henry VII, surrender by William Roos of cottage in Belper recently in the tenure of John Bonsall, to the use of Roger Greygorr; it remained in the hands of the lord, whence Roger sought 3 proclamations, the first was made and no-one came, at the court held at Dalley on Thursday before St James the Apostle [20 July], a second proclamation was made and no-one came; at court held at Belper upon a third proclamation, 3 August, Roger Greygorr' was admitted to the cottage, to hold to him, his heirs and assigns. Entry fine 8d.
