At the view of frankpledge of Beaurepaire [Belper] held at Duffelde, 12 November 18 Henry VI John Sowter of Beaure [Belper] and his wife Alice came and took one pasture called Schothulruyddynge containing 6 acres, and parcel of pasture called Wateruyddynge containing 4 acres 1 rood recently in the tenure of Thomas Rappoke, to hold for their lives, after their deaths reverting to sons Robert and John to each of them as long as he shall live, their heirs and assigns, to hold in severalty. Rent 6s 10d. Entry fine 12d.
