CAB 23 First World War conclusions

Cabinet conclusions since 1916 use two different forms of notation. Between 1916 and 1919 War Cabinet meetings were numbered sequentially from 1 to 635. Therefore, WC 315 (1) refers to the 315 War Cabinet meeting, first agenda item or conclusion. The internal reference for the period of the First World War Cabinet is WC. Sitting outside the series of conclusions there are also two sub-series listed separately here: the A and X minutes which are supplementary to the usual conclusions and the minutes of the Imperial War Cabinet (which was a separate body from the War Cabinet).
