The National Archives’ Research Report showcases the vast array of research activity performed by staff and PhD students across our organisation. The projects and partnerships included within it demonstrate our role as a researching archive and an Independent Research Organisation: an institution that is custodial, sustainable, accessible and impactful.
As part of our commitment to championing the research of our colleagues, students, volunteers, and visitors as a research community, the Research Report will be published annually every autumn.
Read our Research Report 2024–2025 and explore the myriad projects happening at The National Archives – from collections, digital, and conservation and heritage science research.
