What to expect from the session
In this fun session, students experience a day in the life of Henry VIII through sensory props, roleplay, song, dance and call and response activities.
Using documents and images from The National Archives’ collections as stimuli, students explore how the rules of daily life in Tudor times affected everyone including the king.
Your students will have plenty of opportunities to develop their social and communication skills as they discover how King Henry spent his days.
This session is suitable for students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Mild Learning Disabilities (MLD), Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).
