Behind every witchcraft accusation was a human story, of fear, suspicion, reputation and survival.
Join Jessica Nelson, Head of Collections at The National Archives, for an exploration of witchcraft, witch beliefs and witch hunting. Using records and evidence from The National Archives’ collection, she’ll be bringing to life the real people and communities caught up in these extraordinary events and moral panics, showing that the truth can be every bit as interesting as fiction.

What you need to join
This event will be live streamed on the website of our streaming service, Vimeo.

Help during the event
To access the live event, click on the link in the Eventbrite confirmation email you received when you booked the event. Vimeo will open in your web browser.
