In 1924, Emily Kaye was brutally murdered by her married lover, Patrick Mahon. Join real police experts as they revisit her story and how her case triggered fundamental changes in crime scene investigation.

This event will be discussing a historical murder case. While this will be dealt with sensitively and will not depict any images of a graphic nature, the content may not be suitable for all.
The tragic murder of Emily Kaye, and the subsequent police investigation, resulted in changes to police practice such as the introduction of the 'murder bag'.
Taking the story of Emily's murder as a starting point, this talk will explore the history of forensic science, its evolution over the past century, and the modern techniques used to solve crimes and catch criminals today.
