Spaces, Places and Belonging Community Hub
The Spaces, Places and Belonging (SPB) Community Hub is a UK-wide programme supporting inclusive, community-led research across the United Kingdom’s galleries, libraries, archives, and museums (GLAM) and heritage sector.
The Community Hub provides over £550,000 to be awarded through three grant schemes – Seed Corn Grants, Skills Bursaries, and Project Grants – alongside a programme of training, digital skills development, and network-building. The Hub will also create a digital platform to share resources, learning, and best practice, ensuring that community engagement becomes a lasting part of our cultural history.
The programme is led by The National Archives, in partnership with Leeds Museums & Galleries, the National Library of Wales, and the Community Archives & Heritage Group, with funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
