About
Leaving The National Archives in 2025, Roger’s role allowed him to research and explore collections relating to migrants, including refugees and migrant communities. He has over 40 years’ experience in researching records at The National Archives and other archives.
While working at The National Archives, he regularly appeared at British genealogy fairs promoting our work, and published six books. He has previously presented international papers on the subject of migration in the United States, Canada and Australia. He was also the co-curator of our 2024 exhibition Great Escapes: Remarkable Second World War Captives.
