Forest Gate Industrial School was under Whitechapel Union 1854-1869; Whitechapel, Hackney and Poplar Unions 1869-1897; Poplar Union 1897-1906. 1908-1911 was a Branch workhouse. Closed between 1906 and 1908 and 1911-1913. 1913-1930 was under West Ham Board s of Guardians. West Ham Sick Home (also called Forest Gate Sick Home). Pictorial includes Photographic Survey of 1983.
