The Fletcher Convelescent Home opened on 25 April 1893 and was administered by the Govenors of the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. The original building is now (1999) up for sale. A new building, known as Benjamin Court Hospital, has been constructed in the grounds and laters for the rehabilitation of the elderly.
