Other information

The hospital opened in 1901, but as a Training School for Nurses had already been established in 1890, the founding date of the institution probably lies in the 19th century. In 1929 there were 400 beds of which 367 were occupied on average, with a total of 2365 patients being treated per year. There was a maternity home with private wards.
