Other information
In 1929 the function of the hospital was the early and preventative treatment of disease, and convalescence after illness. There were 100 beds divided equally between boys, aged 4 to 12, and girls, aged 4 to 16, of professional and well-educated people of limited means. £1 1s was charged per week, and a stay could last four weeks or longer. There was an X-ray department. Cases with open wounds were taken. Later the hospital became a subsidiary of Westminsterr Hospital, London.
