Other information

Sunderland Royal Infirmary persuaded the Victoria Hall Disaster Fund to fund the establishment of Heatherdene convalescent home in Harrogate. It was at first principally for children (and some women) but later extended for adult convalescents. It was used as a military hospital 1914-1919
