We are unable to provide you with some of the information you have requested because it is covered by the exemption at section 40(2) of the FOI Act, which exempts personal information from disclosure where it would be in contravention of data protection laws.
We can confirm that DPP 2/3335 was due to open in 2022 at which point its closure was extended to 84 years from the original 60. The decision was made by the CPS in 2021. It is standard practice for transferring government departments to review records scheduled to open in the New Year, in order to establish whether information remains sensitive and lawfully exempt under the FOI Act. This may require amending the closure period to one judged to be more appropriate. TNA has published guidance on closure periods.

The documents disclosed in this request consist of closure schedules containing queries by members of the Advisory Council on National Records and Archives, who review closure applications made by departments.
