The Consortium Grants programme offers grant funding of up to £150,000 for large-scale consortium projects, bring together multiple archive, heritage and other organisations to deliver specific outcomes related to the goal of Archives Revealed, ensuring that significant archive collections, representing the lives and perspective of all people across the UK, are made accessible to the public for research and enjoyment.
These projects could be thematically or geographically linked (for example, to deliver impact in a priority place), they could bring together organisations interested in developing archival practice for the sector, or they could make use of technology and new ways of doing. The archive sector is full of wisdom, passion and enthusiasm: we are excited to hear your own ideas. Archives Revealed recognises that the archive sector is diverse, and that consortium’s needs and ambitions will differ, therefore we are looking for proposals that identify a need and propose a solution that will enable access to significant archive collections.
