Quiet spaces

Our building is mostly quiet, but we also have a number of areas available for visitors needing a quieter space for research, prayer or reflection.

Quiet research area

Around the corner from our Library on the first floor, we have an area set aside for quiet research and study. It has several desks and computers available for public use.

Contemplation and prayer room

We have a prayer and contemplation room also located on our first floor, next to the far corner of our Library.

Outdoor spaces

Our grounds

A footpath winds through some bushes to a large grassy space covered with wooden benches and to The National Archives' brutalist building.

Our home in Kew includes beautiful grounds including our Pocket Park, two lakes enjoyed by local swans and wildfowl, and a paved terrace.
