‘This document inspired my work because I found the golden temple interesting and the architecture used in it. It also links in with freedom because when India was part of the British empire, Britain used colonial missionaries to change religions in India and other countries too. So many people wanted their freedom to practice their religion. So I have decided to draw a temple to represent freedom for the people who live now.’
