Guy Fawkes signed two confessions while in the Tower of London. This is the second one, signed eight days after torture. Written in a steadier hand, you can read ‘Guido Fawkes’.
Edward III’s proclamation of 12 June 1365 to sheriffs of all English counties banning football, handball and other ‘vain games of no value’. Football is the Latin word ‘pediuam’ in the middle of the sixth line down.
