Description PageMaker is a discontinued desktop publishing program created by Aldus Corporation in 1985. Originally created for Macintosh computers the PC version was released in 1987. It was purchased alongside other Aldus software such as FreeHand in 1994. File extensions begin with either p or t, signifying the PageMaker file or PageMaker template, followed by the version number 65 or with the extension pmd or pmt.
