The Wellcome Trust

The Wellcome Trust is an independent research-funding charity that aims to improve human and animal health. In the will of Sir Henry Wellcome he specifically mentioned the study of the history of medicine as a topic to be fostered. The Wellcome Trust has since maintained this tradition through its support for research into the history of medicine. Further information may be found at website - link opens in a new window
