Search results

The Results screen displays a reminder of your search, a drop down list of matching Research Guides and the list of catalogue references matching your search.

If you get no results after searching for a phrase try linking individual keywords with AND. For example: 11 AND Argyll AND battalion.

If you get too many, click on Refine search to narrow down your search by adding other requirements.

Research Guides

If your search matches a Research Guide, use the drop-down list to select a title and click on GO. Research Guides give an overview of a subject and provide research advice. After reading a guide you may want to move on to search or browse the areas of the Catalogue highlighted in the guide.
