This is the account of the abbot and convent of Osney (appropriators of the parish church of Bibury), collectors of the first instalment of the one and a half clerical tenths granted to Henry IV in 1402, for the archdeaconry of Gloucester, in the diocese of Worcester, by their attorney, Walter Somerton.
The document is in good condition and is legible.
The document is undated, but refers to memoranda of Hilary and Trinity terms 1403, and must therefore date from summer 1403 or afterwards. The document shows signs of having been enrolled, including an endorsement of enrolment.
