This website is run by The National Archives. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts

Second challenge is not accessible
There is one key accessibility issues with the second challenge in the tool:
- Due to the nature of the challenge, there are time limits on each section, which cannot be extended or switched off. This fails WCAG success criterion 2.2.1 (Timing Adjustable)
We are investigating this issue and hope to resolve it by June 2026.
Text formatting
It is not possible to manipulate all of the text properties in some parts of the tool, e.g. while you can change colour and font size, you cannot change line height and word spacing. This fails WCAG success criterion 1.4.12 (Text Spacing).
