About
Michael works within the Education and Outreach department at the National Archives.
He has done research into Black history in the 20th century, notably in seaport cities, as well as projects on migration from the Caribbean islands to the UK.
He has also undertaken research on the Irish War of Independence 1919–1921 and helped to produce audio-plays about it for The National Archives.
Additionally, Michael has researched Indian indenture to the British colonies dating from the early 19th century.
His interests include Colonial and Irish histories.
