Arsenic poisoning of beer (page two)

This cutting, from the Express, reports the mass poisoning of beer-drinkers between 1900 and 1901 through the use of arsenic in the preparation of beer. A firm supplying glucose to breweries was found to have been producing the glucose by a chemical process involving arsenic.
