St George 22 May 1801

Sir,

I beg you will acquaint their Lordships that I hope I may be able to remain on board Ship till an Officer arrives to take my truly honorable and pleasant Command, but my complaint requires that I should be on Shore and to take gentle exercise my exertions have been I shall go on as long as I am able, with every sentiment of respect
