Albermarle at Woolwich 24 Sep[tember] 1781
Sir
His Majesty’s Ship under
my Command being nearly ready to
proceed down the down the River (except bending
her Sails) and the Men from Greenwich
Hospital not being Equal to that Service
or of carrying the Ship down the River
by themselves I have to request you
will move their Lordships that they
will be pleased to Order Twenty five
Men from the yacht’s to be immediately
sent on board the Albermarle to assist
in carrying her down the River
