Search by vendor

PRONOM stores information on people and organisations who develop and/or support file formats, software products, character encoding schemes and/or compression types, as well as authors and publishers of documents related to these technical components.

1. Known vendors

Enter the name of a vendor, select the technical component you are interested in from the drop-down list and click 'search' to view a report on all vendors who match that name and component. You do not have to enter the whole name of the vendor - all vendors whose names contain the text you entered will be included in the report.

Leave the box blank, select 'all components' and click 'search' to view a report on all people and organisations known to PRONOM.
