Think before you drink before you drive.
This film features a youthful John Altman. Altman went on to earn fame as “Nasty” Nick Cotton in the BBC soap opera East Enders. The film was part of a Christmas campaign to curb drink-driving, especially amongst younger drivers.
The message was that one or two drinks could sufficiently impair a driver’s ability and that could lead to a fatal road accident. The language and tone of the film are self-consciously street-wise to appeal to a younger audience.
