Text version of this film

This film is about the controversial Suez Canal Crisis in 1956. The film was made in 1960 four years after Suez.

It views the Suez Crisis from a British perspective and does not offer alternative interpretations.

As such it is a one-sided view. It is interesting as it shows how one participant in the Suez crisis, the British, tried to justify their actions in the aftermath of the event.
