IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN. I Henry Warley of the Parish of Hackney in the Countie of Middlesex beinge syck in body but perfect of remembraunce than be unto Allmightie god doe ordeine and make this my last Will and Testament this first

Item, I geve and bequeth unto the saide John a geldinge called Ball Griffen

Item I geve and bequeth unto Arnold Worley my Sonne twenty pounde in currant money to be payde unto him within two yeares next after my decease which some of twenty poundes I will shall be delivered accordinge to the time expressed into the handes of my cosen John Lawrance of trust top paye the same unto my said Sonne when he shall come forth of his Apprenticeship

Item I give and bequeath unto Anne Warley my Daughter twenty pounds in currant money to be payde unto her at the age of one and twenty yeares or at the daye of her marriage, which doth first happen day of November 1586 in manner and forme followinge

First I geve and bequeath my Soule to Allmightie God hopinge oneley to be saved by the death and passion of Jesus Christ my redemer and saviour and my bodey to be buryed at the discretion of myne Executrix

Item I geve and bequeth unto John Warley my Sonne in currante money xx pounds to be paide unto him by myne Executrix the one half therof to be paids unto him within one yere next after my decease and the other moyety to be paid to him within one other yeare nexte followinge.

Item more I geve and bequeth unto the said Anne my best bedstead fether Bed Bolster Pillowes Covlet with other furniture to the same standing in the weynscott plor [parlour] by the yarde

Item I give and bequeth unto Henry Warley my Sonne twenty poundes in currante money to be payde unto the said Henry when he shall come to the age of one and twenty yeares.

Item I geve and bequeth unto Joane Warley my Daughter twenty poundes in currant money to be paide unto her at the age of one and twenty yeres or at the daye of her marriage which shall first happen

Item I will and my mynde is that if any of my sayde Children, namely Arnold, Anne Henry and Jone do depte this life before the time of payment of the saide Legacies to them bequethed accordinge to the times expressed and limited as aforesaide that the said portion or portions shall remayne amonge the other of my said Children survivinge equally to be divided amonge them

Item I give and bequeth to William Warley my Brother in current money six pounds to be paide unto him within six monethes next after my decease

Item I give and bequeth unto Alice Holte my Kinswoman ten pundes in currant money to be payde unto her within one yeare which maketh up the some of three pounds

Item I geve William Harr and Roger --- my servaunts to eyther of them fyve shillings apeece

Item I geve towarde the rapayer of Hackney Church ten shillings

Item I geve unto the poore of the sayde parish xxs to be distributed the daye of my buryall

The residue of all my goodes and chattalls my debts being paide and my funeralls discharged I geve and bequeth unto next after my decease

Item I geve unto Barbara Reynolde my Servaunte twenty shillings in currant money

Item I geve and bequeth unto Isabell Burch my servaunte twenty shillings in currant money

Item I geve and bequeth unto Henry Brickbayte twenty shillings in currante money to be payde unto him at the age of one and twenty yeres yf he live so longe

Item I geve and bequeth unto George Mempesse in consideracon of fyftye shillings I owe him ten shillings more Mary my lovinge Wiefe whom I make and ordeine my sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and appoint overseers unto this my last Will and Testament my loveinge friends Ipolito Lynnett John Lawrance John Hardick and John Thompson and I geve unto eyther of them in consideration of their paynes Tenn shillinges a peece

post scripta I geve and bequeth to Mary my Wife during her natural lyfe my freeholde lande called Galy fyelde being three acres [di] beinge more or less lyinge in the Parish of Tottenham. Witness Ipolito Lynnett John Hardicke marke John Tompsons marke Robert Powes John Laurance
