Hidden Love: LGBTQ+ lives in the 1930s
What can our documents reveal about LGBTQ+ lives in the 1930s?
Students will have the opportunity to explore what some of our documents can reveal about LGBTQ+ lives in the 1930s.
Students will explore the lives of people from the LGBTQ+ community in the past through our rich collection of documents, from personal letters to photographs. They will be encouraged to carefully consider the provenance of our collection and how much we can actually learn from state/police records.
This online workshop is suitable for KS4 or 5 and for History, Citizenship or PSHE.
