Gentlemen would you have the kindness to take my Case into Consideration I myself am a poor unhealth man I am now a out patient of the Nottm infirmary has been for last nine weeks sorry to say Gentleman that I never shall be my own man again My complaint is the [asthsma] and bleeding piles Gentleman I have a daughter she is not so clever in her ability lik Any other young woman sorry to say she will never be able to Earn her own living while She Lives I have kept her of on the parish Ever since she was Born [with] hard liveing and she is now in her 21st year Gentlemen my wages Being small that is from 7 to 8 per week to Bring home I am only A frameworkknitter by trade and not being able to do any thing Else […] me down Gentmen a Little Bit of Bad Treatment that we have received from the Releiving officer and Rate Collector and the doctor Gentmen with so hard put to it and so very poor I have not been able to pay my Rate I have stood need of Releif well Gentlemen it so happened that my wife to Bad of apparently of a bad Rankered mouth it did not be in my power to pay for the doctor she went As well as she Could walk when she got there she asked the Rate Collector for an order he isulted her the worst treatment that could be to a woman then she reiceved from Messers Ward Widdowson overseer and Rate Collector she might of died in the road for what they cared Shame to them gentmen there is actually people who Reiceves parish pay that far better of then them that has to pay to them […] will Assure you for a fact Gentmen you have no idea how the poor is Treated By those scoundrels they Nothing Else
